What are you doing October 31?

OCTOBER 31

HALLOWEEN

SAMHAIN

FULL MOON

BLUE MOON

So while October 31 has ALWAYS been Halloween and Samhain (for the Pagans among us who celebrate), this year it not only falls on a Saturday (yay!) but we ALSO have a full moon - the 2nd of the month, which means it is a BLUE moon!!

Holy energies Batman!!

(Actually, the calendrical blue moon doesn’t have any energetic significance but it sure is cool that it is on Halloween/Samhain).

The full moon is always about release and forgiveness. Creating a forgiveness practice in your life is one of the most powerful things you can do to help your manifestation process.

You hear me say it all the time! If we don’t make room, energetically, there is no way the Universe can provide that which we are asking for.

THIS full moon is extra special in that it falls on Samhain (pronounced SOW-win / SAH-win).

Samhain is the Celtic New Year. It is the time where the veil between the living and the dead is the thinnest and it is a time to celebrate and honour our ancestors.

What have we been holding onto for way too long? Long held resentments have crippled us for a very long time and it is the time to let them go. The next Samhain full moon will occur in 2039 so unless you want to hold onto your shit for another 19 years, I suggest you use this one to your advantage!

There are so many ways you can clear that energy.

  • cleansing with smoke

  • Cutting cords

  • Forgiveness meditation

And many more.

Of course, it is also a great time to sit down with tarot for a chat about what is coming up for you in the next 12 months. While January 1 is the traditional time for resolutions and clearing the slate, if you follow the cycles of the moon and the wheel of the year, Nov 1 would be the ideal time to do this.

The wheel has turned.
